The Shelburne Falls Wine Merchant is located at #1 State Street , in the circa 1877 Odd Fellows Building (National Register of Historic Places), on the Buckland side of the Deerfield River in the Village of Shelburne Falls, MA. We are located at an elevated street level and face the waterfalls that Native Americans and early settlers called Salmon Falls . The Wine Merchant adjoins McCusker's Market and is situated at the head of the internationally famous Bridge of Flowers , originally constructed in 1909 as a trolley bridge connecting Colrain and Shelburne Falls . The bridge has become synonymous with the Village of Shelburne Falls and the scenic Mohawk Trail. Also located on the Buckland side of the river are the Lamson Sharpe Cutlery corporate offices and retail store, Salmon Falls artisan gallery, Newell Building shops, and assorted antique stores, galleries and restaurants. Connected by the auto- pedestrian bridge across the Deerfield River is Shelburne Falls Centre. Here you will find upscale restaurants and diners, galleries, antique stores, the North River Glass Blowing Studio, the "Pot Holes", a Yoga studio, and a candle shop and factory. All this is nestled serenely amidst the Berkshire foothills.
