In-Store Tastings
Saturdays 14hr - 17hr30

Every Saturday from 14hr to 17hr30 there is a complementary tasting. We will open bottles, feature assorted cheeses and bread from McCusker's Market, try some Extra Virgin Olive Oil/Aged Balsamic and sample offerings from around the world. We provide tasting notes and suggested food pairings for the offerings being sampled. On some Saturdays there will be guest presenters conducting the tasting, other Saturdays the presenting will be done in house. We look forward to seeing you.

Special Events

The autumn dinner series, co-hosted by The Shelburne Falls Wine Merchant wraps up the 2007 season with a Louis Jadot Wine Dinner at The Blue Heron, and a New England Fall Cuisine Wine Dinner at The Tusk N’ Rattle Café. . Reservations are required for all events.

2007 Beaujolais Nouveau C’est Arrivé

Beaujolais Nouveau, the wine which just six weeks prior was still dangling on the vine, arrives the Thursday before Thanksgiving this year, November 15th. We will have a 15 liter cask in the store for your sampling pleasure. For us the release of the Beaujolais Nouveau is a seasonal marker, a true harvest wine, the beginning of the holiday season and a family tradition.

Moonlight Madness

Come join us on November 23rd, the Friday after Thanksgiving for "The Lighting of the Village". From 16hr. – 22hr., The towns of Buckland and Shelburne transform into a luminaria lit New England Village for an evening of Street Vendors, Buskers, The arrival of Father Christmas, Trolley Rides and shopping. Espresso Jazz Duo will perform in McCusker’s dining area at the rear of the shop from 17hr30 – 20hr30. We will be open until 22hr and we are offering a 10% discount on all purchases over $50.00. This offer does not combine with our other discounts.
